Bonita Springs, FL – April 13, 2023 – Progressive Design Build is proud to announce the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification of their lead designer, Nikki Bruty. Solidifying her expertise in protecting public health, safety, and welfare, Nikki is thrilled to enhance her already proven design work with this well-earned certification.

“Nikki is a creative dynamo who works diligently to bring our clients’ vision to life,” says David Wherry, President of Progressive Design Build. “Doing so, she embodies our company values of going above and beyond to protect our clients’ best interests to guide them through a smooth remodeling process. Her NCIDQ certification helps take her unique gifts to the next level.”

The NCIDQ Interior Design Certification is the remodeling industry’s recognized indicator of proficiency in design principles, and demonstrates a designer’s commitment to the profession. Requirements for certification include passing within an allotted time three challenging exams, and undertaking a practice analysis of the interior design profession every five to seven years.

Benefits of NCIDQ certification include improved risk management based on proven designer competency, promotional value in terms of heightened remodeling firm reputation, improved productivity facilitated by the enhanced expertise, and greater employee loyalty as a result of increased workplace satisfaction. “Nikki’s certification means a lot to all of us,” says David.

By fulfilling the strenuous requirements for NCIDQ certification, Nikki can assure her Progressive Design Build colleagues and clients of the caliber of her work. Proving her core competencies in building systems, codes, construction standards, contract administration, design application, professional practice, and project coordination, Nikki continues to shine.

“Great design is a combination of art and science,” insists Nikki. “So I encourage my clients to enthusiastically and without hesitation share their vision of their dream home. Working together, we make that dream a reality by seamlessly communicating with my project management and construction colleagues. My NCIDQ certification is further proof I bring everyone my very best.”

In addition to her NCIDQ certification, Nikki has decades of hands-on design experience and a BFA degree in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT). A fan of concerts, boating, and backyard BBQs, Nikki also practices the Progressive Design Build value of philanthropy, supporting “Wigs for Kids,” a non-profit for cancer patients.

“What makes me most happy is making my clients happy,” beams Nikki. “Solving design challenges is what I was born to do. I particularly enjoy making dreams come true in spaces that no one else believed possible. The best compliment I receive from clients is when they say ‘I never thought of that!’ Getting certified is icing on the cake of my joyful and fulfilling career.”
