Cristy Williams

Project Specialist/Designer

A designer by trade and adept listener by nature, Cristy brings depth and versatility to the Progressive design team.

Her passion for design and construction started at an early age, influenced by both of her mother and father’s chosen professions—a professional impressionist painter and architect-developer, respectively. She studied Fine Arts and Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, entered the homebuilding trade, and then started her own custom residential homebuilding company in Ohio with her husband, which she managed before moving to North Naples twenty years ago.

Since residing in Naples, Cristy has honed her skills as a designer working with a variety of talented architects, builders and home remodelers. Now, working with Progressive Design Build as an ASID certified professional (American Society of Interior Designers), she thoroughly enjoys meeting with clients, assisting them with chief architect designs and selections, and coordinating projects from start to finish.

When asked what she is passionate about professionally, Cristy replied, “Listening to my clients and seeing their excitement in the outcome! It is common in my profession for designers to push what they like on their clients. It’s extremely important that I listen to what my clients want and deliver a result that meets their personal design style and preferences.”

In her leisure time, Cristy enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, eating at restaurants, listening to live music, and when she can, relax on the beach. When time permits, you might also see her taking in a round of golf or lobbing a ball across the net.

Cristy spent many years volunteering as a volleyball coach, supporting her children’s activities through high school. She adores cats, and supports organizations like the Naples Cat Alliance and For the Love of Cats non-profit cat rescue organization.
