Elegant White Bathroom Remodel in Ft. Myers, FL

These two bathrooms were part of an extensive interior remodel in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Challenge

These two outdated bathrooms needed an upgrade, from the floor and shower tile to the cabinetry, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. The private master ensuite/bathroom and closet were small, lacking storage space and convenience. The space would need to be thoughtfully reworked to accommodate the homeowner’s aesthetic and functional needs.

Solution

Master Bathroom

Because the master bedroom and garage shared an exterior wall, our design team was able to push back a section of the wall to create a much-needed custom walk-in closet that offered neutral built-ins with open shelving and lots of drawers.

The additional square footage allowed for a luxurious master bath that featured a Kohler “Tea for Two” whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. The shower floor was designed with honed Thassos and Cinderella marble in a herringbone pattern, which was repeated on the bathroom floor for a seamless effect. The bathroom walls were covered in stunning Lotus Statuarro Michelangelo polished porcelain slabs.

Last, but not least, a custom vanity by Crystal Encore (in a Tahoe door style finished in a Cotton White matte) was topped with a Calacutta Clara countertop, a classic Italian marble-looking quartz, making a statement of style and elegance.

Guest Bath

The Progressive design team completely transformed the guest bathroom into a soothing transitional space. Once the dated tub was removed, we installed a large walk-in shower with a modern rolling shower door. The shower walls and floors were laid with beautiful Macaubas Pearl Natural Porcelain tile in an Anticato finish. A decorative tile band (Elysium Selene Beach Diamond) was installed behind the new all-white vanity for visual interest.

Result

Our client couldn’t be more thrilled with her two new bathrooms, complete with a modern yet timeless, classic look that soothes and relaxes.
