Classic White Kitchen Remodel in Bonita Springs, FL

Challenge

This Bonita Springs couple came to Progressive Design Build eager to transform their dark and dated traditional-style kitchen into a lighter, brighter, and more functional living space.

One of the must-haves for this homeowner was changing the two-tier island to a single level island, making everything from cooking to entertaining a breeze.

Solution

Progressive Design Build began transforming the kitchen by installing beautiful antique white Dura Supreme cabinetry finished with an espresso glaze. The lighter cabinets created a fresh, open feel to the space, and the custom “extra tall” size fit perfectly with the high ceilings and offered much-needed additional storage.

As requested, we also eliminated the dual height counter and replaced it with a single Cloud Nine Quartz countertop with plenty of space for food prep and seating. A striking mosaic tile backsplash was also designed into the kitchen space creating a lovely focal point for anyone walking into the room.

Special details include Franke plumbing fixtures, cracked glass bubble pendants, accent lighting, and all new stainless steel appliances.

Results

Our clients were thrilled with the results and had us also renovate their powder room with new cabinets, countertops, and fixtures. In addition, we repainted the home’s interior and replaced all of the interior doors.

“Progressive Design Build (PDB) offers a unique remodeling “process” that basically removes or lessens the possibilities of delays, change orders, or misunderstandings… Dave Wherry, Vice President/Co-Owner, and his team follow this process in detail to assure the client that there are no “surprises” from the beginning of the project to the end of the project. Along with Dave and his team, each subcontractor meets with the client at the ‘client’s home to go over drawings, answer questions, and become an integral part of the process. Again, all with the idea of eliminating the chance of delays or misunderstandings. ‘Dave’s team also meets with the client several times during the process. The purpose of the meetings is to assure the client that they will receive exactly what they want and exactly what will work best for their remodel project. My wife and I have gone through several building/ remodeling projects over the past 30 years and we can confidently say that the “process” offered by PDB is the ideal solution. We would highly recommend PDB for your next remodeling project.”
