A White Transitional Kitchen Remodel in Bonita Springs

This stunning kitchen remodel was part of a whole house remodel.

Challenge

With a desire to stay within the kitchen’s existing footprint, these homeowners wanted additional storage space and a new, modern design style that reflected their personal tastes.

Solution

After removing a bulky butcher block island to increase workflow, Progressive Design Build updated the rest of the kitchen with new paint, hardware, cabinetry, and appliances. The dark, dated cabinetry was replaced with custom white stacked cabinets (in a Dempsey shaker door style). The countertops were replaced with beautiful Berwyn Cambria quartz inspired by the peaks and ridges of a rugged mountain range and complemented with a full-height shimmering gray subway tile backsplash.

Completing the look are glass-front cabinets with in-cabinet lighting, effectively displaying art pieces and collectibles. Tying the space together, we chose brushed nickel lighting fixtures, elegant cabinet pulls, a gooseneck faucet, and a Vigo 30” single basin sink.

Finally, Progressive installed 6″ Chale Miele Wood Plank Porcelain flooring throughout the house to seamlessly blend the kitchen and the adjoining living spaces together.

Result

A dark-dated kitchen becomes light, bright and modern matching the contemporary design style of the rest of the home.
