Progressive Builders, Inc. has promoted David Wherry to project consultant for the professional design and build remodeling company. In his new role, Wherry will be responsible for meeting with homeowners, coordinating with designers and working with subcontractors and suppliers to reach estimated budgets and costs.

Wherry is originally from St. Marys, West Virginia, and holds a business degree from West Virginia University. He relocated to Fort Myers in 2002 to work in the PGA golfing apprentice program, and went on to work for Home Depot, learning valuable business systems, management skills and what it takes to run a multi-million dollar business. He also owned his own commercial and residential cleaning company for six years, during which time he first worked for Progressive Builders, Inc. as a subcontractor. Wherry joined Progressive Builders, Inc. in 2012 and served as production manager before transitioning to his current role as project consultant.

“Wherry has shown great dedication to his work and his clients, and due to receiving great feedback from many clients singing his praises, we knew his advancement was a great move for our company,” said Mike Spreckelmeier, president and owner of Progressive Builders, Inc. “He has a fantastic ability to negotiate with other team members to ensure that our clients are receiving the desired outcomes for their remodeling projects, while creating an end product that is tailored to their budgeting needs.”
