An Overview of Our Best Before & After Projects

We all love to see before-and-after photos showing a great transformation but, if you’re like us, you’re always curious about the “rest of the story” too. Here, we present several projects with before-and-after photos and the inside scoop about each addition, renovation or remodeling project. We selected four projects that show our range of services, located throughout Southwest Florida, but this is just a small sample of the many homes we’ve transformed with our amazing three-step process.

Bonita Springs Outdoor Kitchen Addition

Location: Bonita Bay, Bonita Springs, Florida

For this project, the goal was to add an area for entertaining guests and enjoying the outdoors with a glass of wine. The challenge was running cable to the exterior wall because of an abutting interior stairway. As you can see from the before photo, the space had no purpose before the addition of an outdoor kitchen. We designed and built a simple and functional layout with beautiful finishes that tied in with the existing decking and home accents.

Full Home Renovation in Cape Coral

Location: Cape Coral, Florida

This waterfront home in Cape Coral needed an update with more modern finishes and a more functional layout. Because this was an extensive full home renovation, the client moved out during the construction and rented another home, so they were understandably firm about the completion date. The Progressive Builders team exceeded their expectations by completing the project one week ahead of schedule. In that time, we flipped the entire kitchen to add more space and create a better, more functional layout. We also expanded the master closet to create a huge walk-in closet, which also opened up the master bathroom and allowed us to add a make-up vanity area.

Estero Outdoor Living Area Remodel

Location: Shadowwood, Estero, Florida

This home featured a simple outdoor kitchen, and the owners simply wanted more. Progressive Builders designed and built an expanded outdoor living area that is perfect for entertaining on game day or simply enjoying the golf course view. We added upgraded kitchen appliances and expanded counter space with a bar for additional seating. The challenge was to create this great-looking design in a way that addressed practical considerations such as venting of the large outdoor grill. We accomplished a great marriage of function and beauty, which now serves as outdoor retreat where our clients can relax in comfort.

Master Bathroom Remodel in Fort Myers

Location: Devonwood, Fort Myers, Florida

Progressive Builders completely transformed this master bathroom to create a more functional space with high-end spa-like feel. Our three-step process made the project flow smoothly as we rearranged the entire layout, moving the shower area that was very closed-in and dark to the front of the bathroom. Once the space was opened up, design touches are what completed the transformation. From the cabinetry and countertops to the tile, hardware and window treatments, every detail contributes to the spa-like ambiance of this gorgeous master bath.

Progressive Design Build did a significant project for us: new kitchen, family room, new ceramic tile throughout the house, moved a wall in a bedroom, new paint in most of our rooms and a total new paint job on the exterior of the house. They covered all the details of the job before we left for the summer. They kept us informed weekly with emails, photos and phone calls when necessary, and finished the job two before we came back in the fall. They did an excellent, outstanding job and the punch list took less than six to complete. I will use them again for our next remodel project. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

We hired Mike Spreckelmeier at Progressive Design Build to remodel our condo in Bonita Bay. We wanted to completely redo the kitchen as well as eliminate the sliders from the kitchen and family room leading to the lanai.
